we wanted to create a hygge oasis from the city we live in for our master bedroom. we used many shades of white, cream and tan to add interest to the room while keeping it very neutral. there are many tones of light colored wood as well. the nightstands are vintage blond wood with brass accents. the bed frame is a simple platform bed in a light pine. the bedside lamps are raw wood with a tan linen shade. the bench under the TV is made from a pine board with pine legs we bought on amazon. the braided wool rug is very soft and thick and so warm to walk on. linen is an important texture with super soft curtains and a duvet cover that is always a little wrinkled. The cushion headboards hang from hooks in the wall. a ceramic pendant light gives off creamy warmth at night. in one corner is a little garden with easy to care for plants. in the other corner sleeps our frenchie, teddy, whose bed is another neutral tan color.
