from builder grade to customized, this new construction home takes on the personality of the new owners. a fake fireplace is removed to create a space for an entry console and an exciting collection of street art the owners have collected over the years. the rich white walls and beige trim goes well with the light wood tones of the furniture and floors. designed for large family gatherings, the modular sofa was configured to fit the space perfectly. the dining room chandelier adds another texture as well as mood lighting for entertaining. The glass island pendants were traded for brass and wood accent items on the counters add bohemian style to traditional cabinets and tile choices in the kitchen.


a laundry room is modernized as part of a kitchen update. space for a dryer is added by utilizing a smaller sink. stripes and plywood shelves and a sleek globe pendant add to the style.

two giant openings were cut into the walls on either side of the fireplace in the dining room and the basement stairs were relocated to create a new entrance into the kitchen, gain more space and a wonderful flow from the dining room to the kitchen adding to the new open concept created on the first floor of this victorian.

only 1 foot of main bedroom space was needed to add this ensuite bath. it was created from the original walk-in closet and the upstairs space of the back stairs in this victorian.

a bathroom gets a major overhaul without moving any of the major plumbing. a shower is added but the bathtub is saved, adding to the vintage charm. new tile and fixtures complete the update.


a total renovation of a 90's kitchen with keeping the floor footprint the same. the counter on the island was changed to all one height allowing the beauty of the amber colored marble to shine through and allowing for seating for two while increasing useable counter space. the vent over the stove was changed to a designer stainless one and a feature wall of mosaic tile was added to give the kitchen a design focal point. increased storage space in the new cabinets allowed for the hanging pot rack to be replaced by a beautiful light fixture over the island.
